What's the point in having an offline mode if my character is stored server side anyway? Don't mean to rant its just annoying spending 3-4 hours or so combing through Act 1 and then finding I have to do it all over again, with the added risk of knowning it COULD happen again. The only thing I was going to do in Act 1 that I didn't already do was farm Countess for a Tal rune as she dropped an Eth when I did the quest. I did everything within Act 1 on that character, and I mean everything, all quests, listened to all dialogue for each quest and for when each quest is completed from all NPC's, every random optional cave, everything. But then I made an offline character and just decided to make an online character whenever they do buy it. Started playing on release, I was only planning on playing offline but made an online character because I have friends and family who are going to buy the game at some point, but due to server issues it seemed like my online character got deleted, didn't bother me much however as I had only just reached the Stoney Fields.
